The Park
Normanby Hall was built by the Sheffield family who were once the Dukes of Buckingham and owners of Buckingham Palace. Designed in 1825 by Robert Smirke to be their country seat, the Hall is set in some 300 acres of beautiful parkland.
The grounds are open all year round and self-guided nature trails allow visitors to enjoy the Park at their own pace. The Deer Park is home to herds of both Red and Fallow deer and has been a favourite family attraction for many generations.
Other attractions include miniature steam railway rides, a farming museum and an award winning Victorian walled garden.
If your ride in the fresh air has made you hungry, the tearoom is just across the courtyard from the riding stables. Here they serve hot and cold snacks and light meals all day.
The Hall and gardens are open to the public from 9.00 am until dusk, subject to North Lincolnshire Council admission charges. Details can be found on their website: http://www.northlincs.gov.uk
