The stable block at Normanby Riding School dates back to the 18th Century and would have formed very much a part of everyday working life at the Hall.

Set in an impressive old Georgian courtyard, the stables themselves still look much as they would have done back in the days when horses were the only form of transport.

Today, riders ranging from absolute beginner to seasoned expert can still enjoy the Regency elegance of these authentic and beautiful surroundings.

Our horses may be unimpreseed by the splendour of their historic home, but they enjoy the freedom of a hack in the deer park just as much as the riders! All riding is by appointment, please contact us to book your session.
